As Romeo and Juliet

The world tries to tear us down
the future seems so far away
Your flower captures me
and captivates my every view
take me please
I want to love you
deeper than I have ever loved before
I am a prisoner of your heart
and your love lives on
for years to come
that is us like Romeo and Juliet
a passion yet lived but died so deeply
on a bed of roses and poison laced glasses
lovers die like withered flowers
Oh let me love you still
my Romeo and Juliet
Love for me
and die for me still
I now we will life for a thousand years
but die for the love of it
with a lovers passion
and a kiss to end it
but the poison stains my lips

About Amanda Shelton

I write, and I do digital art. My life is never too boring, I think too much for my life to be nothing but interesting. I always put myself into my writing, so if you want to know how I think then just read my poetry, and short stories. Also I am brutally honest, and I love everyone unconditionally. No one is a stranger to me, I will treat you like I treat everyone else, like family.
