A birthday massacre

You know not of birthday massacres
wishes die
and not for me
candles blown not for thy own declare
another year another day
to spare?
A birthday massacre
leaving candles without a breath of air
just another year
birthday wishes left and none to spare
a massacre a war of ages
and none to share
candles they declare a war
a breath of air please?
Nothing but a birthday massacre
wishes die
and not for me
candles leave without a breath to spare
this is my birthday massacre

About Amanda Shelton

I write, and I do digital art. My life is never too boring, I think too much for my life to be nothing but interesting. I always put myself into my writing, so if you want to know how I think then just read my poetry, and short stories. Also I am brutally honest, and I love everyone unconditionally. No one is a stranger to me, I will treat you like I treat everyone else, like family.
