Reading and writing

Without reading books a writer has nothing.

I have read over 500 + more books in my life so far and may read twice that much before I die may be three times. I love a good book to inspire the poet in me. I love romance, science, Historical, action,SYFY,fiction, fictional, nonfictional,Bios, you name it I have or will read it. I remember my very first book ever my mom use to sit with me and my brother to read Dr. Doolittle was and is my favorite book. I have good memories with reading. I was a fanatic reader I still read anything I can get my eyes on. To tell you the truth it gives me a high to read. I have learned a lot from reading I can truly say I would not be a very good poet if I couldn’t read.

“If you want to be a writer, you must do two things above all others: read a lot and write a lot. There’s no way around these two things that I’m aware of, no shortcut.”
― Stephen King, On Writing
