Of summers hottest day

Once upon a hot summer day

I sat and wondered of the day

thinking thought’s I knew I should not

thinking upon a mild and windy day

and of clouds forming about this very day

this very day

I sat and wondering of a cloudy foggy day

pondering once everyday

tow to make it so and three to make sure it was so

I pondered weak and weary keeping thought’s at a low

like the wind dying lower and bowing it’s hand to keep me slower

I wondered of this day thinking thought’s that kept me so

I pondered upon this very day of wind and snow

I pondered weak and weary keeping my thought’s at a low

of a colder day and not of this hot and dreary day

of summers hottest day
