A tall tale heart a tale of the broken heart

A tall tale heart a tale of the broken heart.

Who is that beating at my door?

Beating like a drum a hollow heart.

A tall tale heart beating like a drum.

Hollow hearts beating, beating like a drum.

A tall tale heart I hear it’s strum a rhythm beating like a drum.

Hollow hearts Know no difference,

but a tall tale heart knows only lies beating at its door.

Hollow hearts broken apart from lies by the one who beats at its door.

A tall tale heart knows no difference but what it’s taught by a broken heart.

A tragedy falling apart.

This is a tall tale heart a tale of the broken heart.

About Amanda Shelton

I write, and I do digital art. My life is never too boring, I think too much for my life to be nothing but interesting. I always put myself into my writing, so if you want to know how I think then just read my poetry, and short stories. Also I am brutally honest, and I love everyone unconditionally. No one is a stranger to me, I will treat you like I treat everyone else, like family.
